Sunday 22nd September - Nuneaton Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches and some interesting results at the top of both divisions.

In the Premier Division, new team Up The Adders came into the league and had an immediate impact, as they held top of the table Exeter Gently to a 1-1 draw, this result coupled with Sky Blues' 2-1 win over Jack's Army means both teams are now level on points at the summit, although Exeter's superior goal difference keeps them top of the table.
Third place Inter YN were also held to a 1-1 draw by SN Dons, meaning they are now 2 points behind the top two.  Cheeky Milandos moved off the bottom of the table after a 3-1 win over Deportivo LF in the clash of the bottom two.

Trees are May move to the top of Division One after a 4-3 victory over 5 and a Half Men in an entertaining match, whilst Hardly Athletic's 1-0 win over Extra Special Ones sees them move into second spot, ahead of Egg Fried Reus who drop to third place following their surprising 1-0 reverse against Misfits.

In the early game in the Division One, Flash's Young Boys and Dixy Pigeons played out an entertaining 2-2 draw.

We wish all teams good luck going into next weeks matches with Nuneaton's premier small sided football provider.
