Sunday 23rd October - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with the only disappointment being Ballondora Boys who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 30th October.

The Allies ninth win in ten came in the form of a convincing 6-0 thrashing of Jacks Army whom they move six points clear of in the table and look to have officially knocked them out of the title race.  Gylfis Young Boys looked impressive as they got a 3-0 victory over Borussia Teeth this week, whilst Wanyamas in Pyjamas were 5-1 winners over Who Ate All Depays in another impressive performance as they bid to get out of the drop zone.

Division One leaders Misfits were 4-1 winners over second placed Sky Blue Army to put some daylight between the two in the title race, whilst Extra Special Ones took full advantage as they closed the gap between them and second place with a 9-0 mauling of Egg Fried Reus.  The Invincibles moved above Rainbow Sparkles into fourth after beating them 3-0, whilst Globogym won the battle of the bottom two by a single goal as they overcame Kroos Control.
