Sunday 24th November - Nuneaton Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening of 6 a side football in Nuneaton on Sunday which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled, the only exception being Trees Are May who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 1st December.

Exeter Gently won again to stay top of the Premier Division, they edged past Sky Blues 2-1 to move 4 points clear of second spot as Inter YN lost an 11 goal thriller 6-5 against Jack's Army.  Hardly Athletic moved nearer to safety after a 1-0 win over Mass Debaters, a result which puts them just a point off sixth placed Jacks Army.

Cheeky Milandos were knocked off their perch at the top by Dixy Pigeons who beat them 2-0, paving the way to the summit for Extra Special Ones who put five without reply past 5 and a Half Men.  The top two are now level on points with a superior goal difference for Extra Special Ones being the separator.  Misfits 5-1 win over Flash's Young Boys sees them remain in third place just a point off the promotion positions.  Finally, Egg Fried Reus remain in mid-table after an impressive 6-0 win over Deportivo LF.
