Sunday 25th March - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed games played throughout the night.

Congratulations are extended to The Allies (Premier Division) and Wanyama's In Pyjamas (Division One) on their title exploits this season!  Well done also to Birdies Boys (Division Two) who were winners of the mini league which was formed for the final six weeks of the season!  Trophies and medals will be awarded to these teams on the first week of the new campaign (Sunday 2nd April).

We are delighted to confirm that the league will be extending once again for the new season, and we will be welcoming another four teams to the league to take us up to a total of 24 for the new campaign!  We welcome new teams Unipart United, Lemon Skittles, Wootton Street Wanderers and Lad on Toure to the league and wish all good luck going into their first matches with us!

We thank all teams for their continued reliability and commitment to the league and wish all good luck going into the first round of fixtures for the season ahead with Nuneaton's premier providers of small sided football.
