Sunday 28th April - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a superb evening of 6 a side football in Nuneaton on Sunday which saw all teams in attendance for their scheduled fixtures, apart from Egg Fried Reus who cancelled with 7 days notice.

Exeter Gently remain top of the pile in the Premier Division with a 100% record after they won 7-0 against recently promoted Dark Fruit FC.  Deportivo LF and Inter YN remain second and third respectively as both won their matches this week, they sit level on points only separated by goal difference, whilst they are three points off the pace setters.  Game of the night in the division was undoubtedly the 4-4 thriller in which Misfits claimed a point against Jack's Army.

Mean Machine remain top of Division One after they ran out 4-0 winners against Real Sosobad who drop to fifth.  Extra Special Ones move into the top two places in Division One after a hard fought 3-2 win over bottom placed Hardly Athletic.  Dixy Pigeons moved out of the bottom two following an impressive 2-0 win over Sky Blues 87.
