Sunday 29th March - Nuneaton Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Nuneaton Monday 6 a side league this week.

PLEASE NOTE THE LEAGUE IS CANCELLED FOR ONE WEEK ON SUNDAY 5TH APRIL DUE TO THE VENUE BEING CLOSED FOR EASTER.  WE RETURN AS PER FIXTURES ON SUNDAY 12TH APRIL AND HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT EASTER BREAK.

In the Premier League, the competition was fierce. King Street All-Stars faced off against Puyol Pants Down in a tight match that ended 2-1 in favor of Puyol Pants Down. The All-Stars put up a valiant fight, but Puyol Pants Down's defense held firm, securing their victory.

Over in Division 1, Ricky Spanish FC met their match against Rubbergently, who emerged victorious with a narrow but decisive 3-2 scoreline. However, the real spectacle of the night was Zooted And Booted's emphatic triumph over 2nd A Town. With a dominating 6-1 score, they left no doubt about their intentions for the rest of the season.

Division 2 saw Barely Athletic lock horns with Wootton Street Wanderers. Despite a strong start, Barely Athletic couldn't keep up, and the Wanderers secured a 3-1 victory. Meanwhile, Borussia Teeth managed a narrow 1-0 win over Tuffnells FC in a match that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
