Sunday 29th September - Nuneaton Round-Up

It was a good evening of 6 a side football in Nuneaton on Sunday overall with all teams in attendance for their fixtures as scheduled, apart from Misfits who contacted Head Office to cancel and return on Sunday 6th October.

Exeter Gently edged closer to the Premier Division title this week as they were 2-0 winners against SN Dons, whilst Inter YN moved above Sky Blues and into second place after beating them 4-1 this week.  However, an Inter YN win by 2 or more goals against Exeter this week in the final match of the season would see them take the title in what promises to be an exciting final week!

Trees Are May were 5-0 winners against Extra Special Ones this week to remain a point clear at the summit of Division One, whilst Hardly Athletic also keep the pressure on after they won 3-1 over Egg Fried Reus.  Both are guaranteed promotion now but it is all to play for in terms of who takes the title.
