Sunday 30th April - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches across all three divisions.

The Premier Division saw some thrilling matches. The first match of the day between Gylfis Young Boys and Extra Special Ones was a close contest, but the latter emerged victorious with a 3-2 win. Jack's Army also clinched a 3-2 win against Wanyamas in Pyjamas in another tightly contested match.

In the debut game of the Premier Division, Tuffnells FC displayed some impressive skills, despite suffering a 4-0 loss to Borussia Teeth. Tuffnells FC, who made their first appearance in the top division, were praised for their enthusiasm and performance.

In Division One, The Backstreet Moyes dominated the match with a 5-0 victory over Hardly Athletic. Kroos Control FC lost a close match to Birdies Boys, with the latter clinching a 1-0 win. Homo Sissoko enjoyed a comfortable win, beating Rainbow Sparkles 3-0. Egg Fried Reus and Dixy Pigeons played out a 1-1 draw in a closely contested match.

In Division Two, Who Ate All Depays proved too strong for Schindlers Assist, winning 4-0. Lad on Toure secured a 4-0 win over Jubilee Juggernauts. Unipart United emerged victorious against Globo Gym Purple Cobras with a 3-1 win. Lemon Skittles completed the division's action with a resounding 4-0 victory against Wootton Street Wanderers.

It was a fantastic display of football from all the teams, with some teams showcasing their skills and others learning valuable lessons. With the season just getting underway, we're sure to see more exciting action in the upcoming matches.
