Sunday 30th November - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance barring a late cancellation from Lads on Toure who return as normal next week.

In the Premier League, Puyol Pants Down made a resounding statement, putting six goals past Hardly Athletic without reply. Meanwhile, Stevos Turtle Beach Headset pulled off a comfortable 4-1 victory against The Scoregasms, displaying solid teamwork. A tightly contested match between EEFC and Norfolk N Chance ended in a goalless draw, keeping the league table excitingly poised.

Division 1 saw a fierce contest with Age Doesnt Mateta and HCU battling to a 3-3 draw. Nuneaton Kings FC managed to edge past The Ladthsss with a 1-0 win in a match where every possession counted. The Allies FC routed Ricky Spanish FC 7-2, showcasing their offensive prowess.

Over in Division 2, Atherstone United claimed a 3-1 victory against Borussia Teeth, whereas Expected Toulouse managed to squeak by Barely Athletic with a 3-2 win. Salah-vation Army fell to Misfits 2-0 in a tactical matchup.

Finally, in Division 3, Extra Special Ones stole the show with a 6-0 thrashing of Rainbow Sparkles. Tuffnells FC couldn't find their rhythm against Tiki Tanaka, succumbing to a 2-0 defeat.
