Nuneaton Sunday League Lights Up Week 12 of the Season

In the thrilling week 12 of the Nuneaton Sunday 6-a-side football league, teams across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 divisions demonstrated impressive skill and determination, leaving the spectators on edge.

The Premier League saw King Street All-Stars dominating THE ALLIES FC with an 8-2 victory, securing their place as a top contender in the league. Also in the Premier League, Newdy Old Boys delivered a crushing 9-0 defeat to TOPSPUR, highlighting their superior tactics and teamwork.

In Division 1, Ricky Spanish FC had a tough game against The Ladthsss, ending with a 1-3 scoreline in favour of The Ladthsss. Zooted and Booted also found success with a strong 4-0 win over Salah-vation Army. The week closed with a brilliant performance by Rubbergently, who outscored 2nd A Town 5-1.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, Rainbow Sparkles faced a minor setback losing 0-2 to Wootton Street Wanderers. However, the highlight was the closely fought match between Blitz FC and Tuffnells FC, with Tuffnells FC pulling ahead with a narrow 1-0 victory.

With only two weeks left of the season, the competition remains tight, as teams try to secure their places for the next season.

The top scorers across the divisions have also been announced. King Street All-Stars and Newdy Old Boys are leading the Premier League. The Ladthsss and Rubbergently are the top scorers in Division 1, whereas Wootton Street Wanderers and Tuffnells FC have dominated the scoreboards in Division 2.
