Sunday 6th March - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their scheduled matches and some excellent football on display.

3 Lions relentless start to the campaign in the Premier Division continues as they made it 6 wins in a row, they were 4-0 winners over Borussia Teeth this week.  Exeter Gently move into second place after turning their season around with four wins in a row, their latest triumph a 3-1 victory over Up The Tics, whilst Yerrr moved up to fourth place following a 2-1 win over Hardly Athletic.  Cheeky Milando's got their season up and running, notching their first victory of the campaign in the form of a 4-2 win over Jacks Army.

The Purples remain at the summit of Division One after another win this week, they were 7-2 victors over Misfits, whilst second placed No Cup FC got back to goal scoring form with an 8-0 thrashing of Rainbow Sparkles, they remain a point off the leaders after being shut out by Dixy Pigeons last week.  Bottom of the table Slide Into Your EDM's got their first points of the season this week after a hard fought 2-1 win against Egg Fried Reus.
