Sunday 7th January - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was an excellent return to action in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week with the first matches of 2024 kicking off in style, and signalling the end of the current season.

The new season's fixtures are now live for Sunday 14th January and we look forward to welcoming all teams to the action this weekend for the season opener!

In the Premier League, THE ALLIES FC displayed an exemplary performance, beating Borussia Teeth 4-0 to secure the division title. In total, THE ALLIES FC garnered 17 points and 8 wins, marking an astonishing season performance.

Division 1 saw Misfits emerging as the winners with 14 points and 6 wins overall. Their last match against Tekkerslovakia ended 3-1, highlighting their strategic play and impeccable coordination.

Division 2 was dominated by Murder On Zidanes Floor, who displayed ruthless precision to defeat Extra Special Ones 8-0 in their final match. Their relentless efforts throughout the season earned them a proud title with 18 points and 9 wins.

In Division 3, Ricky Spanish FC came out on top after defeating Kevos Kids 4-1. The victory took their total points to 18, with 9 wins, making them the undisputed champions of their division.

Finally, in Division 4, it was Pain In Dias who stole the show. Their 6-0 triumph against Set 8 was a testament to their supreme skills and dominance. They concluded the season with 18 points and 9 victories.
