Sunday 8th March - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

Another excellent evening's football in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being Stevo's Turtle Beach Headset and Extra Special Ones, both of which return as normal on Sunday 15th March.

In the Premier League, an exhilarating match between Ladzio and THE ALLIES FC stole the show as Allies routed Ladzio with a staggering 7-0 victory. THE ALLIES FC's searing performance secured their position as the top scorers for this week in the Premier League. In another high-scoring encounter, King Street All-Stars exhibited their dominance over EEFC with an 8-3 victory, reinforcing their prominence in the league.

In Division 1, 2nd A Town narrowly edged out Salah-vation Army 1-0 in a nail-biting match. The most lopsided match saw Ricky Spanish FC succumb to the might of Misfits with the latter emerging victorious with a commanding scoreline of 6-1, making Misfits the highest-scoring team in Division 1 this week. Zooted And Booted also secured a win against The Ladthsss, finishing at 3-1.

Division 2 presented an evenly contested match between Tiki Tanaka and Barely Athletic which concluded in a 4-4 draw. Rainbow Sparkles struggled to find their rhythm against Borussia Teeth, with the latter scraping a narrow 1-0 win.
