End of season

A magnificent season came to an ugly end on Monday, as we saw embarrassing scenes from Pum Pum Gnash and Walsallwood Saint Vets. Pum Pum Gnash have been removed from the league and will be banned from all future Leisure Leagues competition, and will also receive a £100 fine for their part in the fracas. Meanwhile the player involved from Walsallwood Saint Vets will be receiving a three match ban and £20 fine.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate, and any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.

In much more positive news, we would like to congratulate Exeter Gently, Boats & Hoes, Cowdenbeef and Sporting Beckets 1902 for winning their respective divisions. Well done as well to the runners up in each league, who were Expected Toulouse, Bald Frauds, Edwards Allstars and Walsallwood Saint Vets.

The Player Of The Season award has gone to Louis Peate from Bald Frauds, who led the way for his side with a string of outstanding individual displays, and helped guide his side to promotion.

We will be in contact with all team captains within the next 48 hours to run through the kick off details for the new season starting next Monday. Good luck to all sides heading into the new season.
