Monday 12th December - Walsall Oak Park Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exceptions being Win Or Booze who've now been removed from the league for their failure to contact us and inform us they could not play.

We are however pleased to welcome new team Duke of York into the league on Monday 19th December, and we wish these good luck going into their first fixture in Division Two as they line up against Save Shane's Turtle.

We welcome back Dijk In Dias and Unathletico Madrid to the league on Monday 19th December after they cancelled at short notice.

There were some entertaining fixtures played across the four divisions this week.

In the Premier Division, Stroke Titty stay level with leaders Budgie Neck, just one goal separates the two teams as Stroke were 9-2 winners over Vegas Degenerates this week, whilst the other game in the division saw WillianDiaz win an entertaining encounter against Last Chance 3-2.

The two league games in Division One ended in the same scoreline, as Wiggins Tiny Pinner moved into second place with a 4-2 win over Chiellini Con Carne, and Hong Kong Vesey went up to third beating Shelfield Wednesday by the same margin.

There was a big result at the top of Division Two as Save Shane's Turtle suffered a 4-3 reverse against Langers, leaving the two separated by goal difference alone at the halfway point.  Euro Anchor put in a superb performance as they thrashed Balotellitubbies 11-1 in a surprisngly one sided encounter!

Dad Bods put in a five star performance against Croft VI as they continue to lead the way in Division Three, their fifth win on the bounce a 5-3 triumph in a well competed match.  Beercelona were 5-4 winners over Inter Ya Nanny in another excellent match, whilst Six Offenders got off the mark for the season, inflicting a second consecutive defeat on Arbo FC, whom they thrashed 8-2.

We wish all teams good luck going into game week 6 of the season with Walsall's premier providers of small sided football, ahead of the two week Christmas break.
