Monday 13th December - Walsall Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night barring a late cancellation from Expected Toulouse who return to action on Monday 20th December.

Walsall Arms were in fine form in front of goal as they ran out 10-3 winners over The Warts in an entertaining encounter, whilst Gangsters Allardyce were 4-2 victors in their game against Psycho Dean's Australian Army in a hard fought encounter.

Langers FC are confirmed to be playing Premier Division football next season as they ran out 9-2 winners against Pablo Esco's, whilst No Fuchs Given were in unforgiving form in front of goal as they were 26-1 winners over Rushall Rovers, they will also be playing top division football next season.  Hong Kong Vesey moved up to third place with a 1-0 victory against Tea & Busquets in a closely fought encounter.  Balotellitubbies were another team in the mood for goals this week as they romped to an 11-0 victory over Stella Courtois.  Rounding off the action in this division was a seven goal thriller in which Class on Grass beat Dijk In Dias by a 4-3 scoreline.

Shelfield Wednesday all but confirmed their promotion to Division One this week as their thrilling 7-6 victory over Pique Blinders sees them sit  six points clear of third place, with a substantially better goal difference.  There are still three teams in the hunt for the final promotion space as Croft, West Norwich Albion and Beercelona are separated by just three points.  Croft look like the favourites at this stage as their goal difference acts as another point effectively, but it will be interesting to see what happens on this date.
