Monday 13th February - Walsall Oak Park Round-Up

It was a good evening's football on game week 2 in the Walsall Oak Park Monday league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches across the four divisions, and some entertaining games on display as ever!

Last Chance U's emphatic start to the season continued into week 2 as they followed up last week's 8-0 win with a 5-1 victory against newly promoted Undateables.  Budgie Neck won the battle of last season's top two in an end to end encounter as the champions ran out 3-2 winners against Stroke Titty.  The action for the division was completed by new team Tchoumani Men who wasted no time settling into the league as they demolished Wiggins Tiny Pinner by 11 goals to 1!

Duke of York were rampant again this week as they scored a 9-3 victory over Hong Kong Vesey, making it an incredible 22 goals scored in two weeks.  Euro Anchor got their second win on the bounce since promotion, they edged past Langers in a competitive game in which they were 2-1 winners.  WillianDiaz looked much improved from last weeks thrashing, they shared a point apiece with Shelfield Wednesday in an eight goal thriller which ended 4-4.

In Division Two, Dijk In Dias looked clinical in front of goal again this week as they ran out 6-2 winners against Save Shane's Turtle, whilst Inter Ya Nanny also got their second win on the spin, inflicting a first defeat in 12 games on Dad Bods who they beat 3-2.  Vegas Degenerates claimed their first points of the campaign, winning an eleven goal thriller against Tea and Busquets by a 6-5 scoreline.

On to Division Three, where Beercelona were impressive 9-4 winners over Six Offenders to claim their second win on the spin, as did Arbo FC who were 5-3 winners against Croft.  The action was completed by Balotellitubbies and Unathletico Madrid, neither of which could be separated as both had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
