Monday 15th May - Walsall Oak Park Round-Up

The Walsall Oak Park Monday 6 a side league returned after a two-week break for the Bank Holidays, and it was a lively restart with two debutant teams. Foley Kings stepped up to the Premier Division, and Shove It In The Goal joined Division Three, both having an enjoyable first match.

In the Premier Division, Foley Kings had a hard-fought draw against Last Chance U, with both teams scoring five goals each. The game was a real see-saw battle with both teams showing their strength. Meanwhile, Stroke Titty defeated Euro Anchor FC 5-3, showcasing their skills on the pitch. Dennis' Disciples struggled against Duke of York, who demonstrated their prowess with an impressive 11-4 victory.

In Division One, Gangsters Allardyce faced a tough challenge against Shelfield Wednesday, who emerged victorious with a 10-3 win. Vegas Degenerates were unable to break through Langers FC's defense, losing the game 3-0. However, Dijk In Dias were in good form and achieved a comfortable 7-3 victory against Dude Wheres My Ladders.

In Division Two, Save Shane's Turtle narrowly lost to Dad Bods 4-3 in a close game. Road to Relegation fell to Hong Kong Vesey 4-1, while Arbo FC put in a valiant effort but was unable to overcome Beercelona, losing 5-3.

Finally, in Division Three, Shove It In The Goal and Tea and Busquets engaged in an exciting game, with both teams battling hard. Ultimately, Tea and Busquets emerged victorious with a 7-5 win. Unathletico Madrid managed to edge past Six Offenders 2-1, while Croft VI faced a tough challenge against Interyananny, losing 4-3.

All teams displayed great sportsmanship, and the league looks forward to more exciting games in week 3. Congratulations to all the winners and good luck to all teams going forward.
