Monday 17th July - Walsall Oak Park Round-Up

The Walsall Monday 6 a side league came to an end this week, and we were pleased to see all teams in attendance for their matches across all divisions, the only exception being Vegas Degenerates who return as normal for the new season on Monday 24th July.

In the Premier League, the final standings saw Duke Of York emerge as champions with an impressive total of 18 points and 9 wins throughout the season. Their exceptional teamwork and skill on the field allowed them to secure the title. Other notable performances in the Premier League included Stroke Titty, who finished strong with a resounding 5-1 victory over league debutants Mr Tumble FC who will play their games in Division One next campaign.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Dijk In Dias claimed the top spot with 14 points and 7 wins. Their consistent performances throughout the season propelled them to victory. Dude Wheres My Ladders also showcased their prowess on the field, clinching a 3-1 victory over Gangsters Allardyce to go up in second place.

The battle for supremacy in Division 2 was fiercely contested, but it was BEERCELONA who ultimately triumphed with an impressive total of 19 points and 9 wins. Arbo FC provided tough competition, narrowly losing 5-4 in a thrilling encounter. Dennis' Disciples and Dad Bods also exhibited their skills, settling for a 2-2 draw.

Lastly, in Division 3, Croft VI secured the top spot with 17 points and 8 wins. Their consistent performances and determination paid off, allowing them to claim the division title after they beat Unathletico Madrid 3-1 in the title decider!   InterYaNanny and Shitouse FC showcased their abilities with a hard-fought 2-2 draw, while Six Offenders emerged triumphant with a 2-1 victory over Tea And Busquets.

We are pleased to confirm the addition of new team 'Baileys and Maccies' to the league for the new season.  They will join into Division Three and we wish these good luck for the season ahead.

Dad Bod's have also withdrawn for the new season, we hope to see them back with us in future and thank them for their time playing with us.
