Monday 24th October - Walsall Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league this week, with the only disappointments being late cancellations from three teams, Chiellini Con Carne and Wiggins Tiny Pinner are due to return on Monday 31st October, whilst Ji Sung Chen have been removed from the league.

We are pleased to welcome Arbo FC to Division Three for Monday 31st October!  They have played with us before and we wish them good luck going into their second debut with us as they face Croft VI.

Last Chance U sealed promotion from Division One this week after an impressive 5-2 win over Dijk In Dias who drop to third, whilst Vegas Degenerates move up to second spot with a 3-1 victory over Hong Kong Vesey, teeing up the clash between second and third in the upcoming final game of the season!

Division Two looks close going into the last week of the campaign too, as Undateable FC went to the top of the table following their 3-1 victory over Shelfield Wednesday in a big result, as Save Shane's Turtle moved into second with a 5-4 win over Balotellitubbies in a well competed game.  The top two meet next week so if one loses, Shelfield could see themselves promoted if they can get a positive result.

Despite a negative goal difference, Inter Ya Nanny look in pole position for promotion after they strolled to an 8-0 win over Tea and Busquets, whilst Langers moved into second place after an impressive performance as they beat Croft VI 6-2.
