Monday 28th November - Walsall Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled, the only disappointment being Beercelona who failed to notify us, they will be confirmed to return on Monday 5th December.

There were some entertaining matched played throughout the night across all four divisions.

In the Premier Division, Stroke Titty now lead the way as they romped to a 7-0 win over new boys Unathletico Madrid who've had a tough start to the campaign since joining.  Budgie Neck drop to second on goal difference after winning an entertaining game against Last Chance U by 3 goals to 2, coming back from behind on two occasions to seal the victory.  Elsewhere, another new side Willian Diaz remain unbeaten since joining, they drew for the second game running, this week sharing an entertaining 5-5 draw with Vegas Degenerates.

In Division One, Dijk In Dias won their second in three to sit top of the pile, they were 8-4 winners over Chiellini Con Carne in a thrilling end to end game, whilst second placed Hong Kong Vesey had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Wiggins Tiny Pinner.  Another side to have drawn two of their first three is Undateable FC who shared a point with Shelfield Wednesday in another thrilling 5-5 draw!

Save Shane's Turtle have had an impressive start to the campaign as they made it three wins on the spin in Division Two this week, hammering a usually solid Tea & Busquets by 7 goals to 1.  Langers leapfrogged Balotellitubbies into second spot this week after thrashing them by 5 goals to 1 in a closer game than the score suggests, Langers were clinical in front of goal though.  Euro Anchor sealed their first win of the campaign as they won a thrilling 14 goal encounter over Win or Booze, 8-6 the full time score in an end to end match!

In Division Two, Arbo got a 5-0 walkover due to their opponents failure to arrive, giving them three wins on the bounce, as have Dad Bods who were 3-1 winners against Inter ya Nanny to sit joint top, leapfrogging this weeks opponents in the table.  Croft VI got their season up and running as they ran out 4-3 winners over Six Offenders in another entertaining game.
