Monday 2nd October - Walsall End of Season Round-Up

It was a fantastic end to the season in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their fixtures across all four divisions and some divisions going right to the wire on the final night, keeping the excitement going till the end!

In the Premier League, Last Chance U emerged triumphant with a decisive 5-1 win against Dude Wheres My Ladders. The team's stellar performance throughout the season was encapsulated in their 14 points and 7 wins, making them the winners of the division, they had to ensure they got over the line on the final week though as three teams behind them were separated by just two points, but it was a professional performance from Last Chance who stuck to the task in hand.

Over to Division 1, it was Langers FC that reigned supreme with an impressive 5-2 victory over Euro Anchor FC. Their strong season performance was reflected in their 17 points and 8 wins, securing their title as Division 1 champions in a comfortable campaign, they will be looking to carry that form into the top flight next time out.

In Division 2, Save Shane's Turtle took the title with an astounding 9-3 victory over Gangsters Allardyce. Their consistent performance throughout the season was evident in their 18 points and 9 wins, giving them a clear lead in their division.

Finally, in Division 3, Baileys And Maccies emerged victorious with a convincing 7-2 win against Tea And Busquets. Their 14 points and 7 wins ensured they secured their position at the top of Division 3 in their debut season.

Fixtures for the new season are now live, and we welcome new team 'Phoenix Legends' into Division Two as they replace the outgoing 'Tea and Busquets' who've withdrawn after a 4 year stay with us!  We thank the outgoing team for their commitment to the league during this period and hope to see them return in future.  We wish the new boys good luck in their debut game on Monday 9th October!
