It was a good evening's football in the Walsall Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring two cancellations, Lads on Toure and Kits In The Boot return as normal for the matches on Monday 14th July.
In the Premier League, Six Offenders and Wiggins Pinner Returns kicked off the season with a tense 2-2 draw. But the most surprising result came through Coddy Connections' 7-0 thrashing of Pelsall FC, clearly setting the tone for the rest of the season. On the other hand, Old House UTD displayed a dominant performance against Dijk In Dias with a stunning 10-2 victory, while Manor Mandem and Handcuffs Utd settled for a 1-1 draw.
In Division 1, AFC Shitmond gave a masterclass performance, defeating Whosyadaddy 5-1. Big Fat Dossers also emerged victorious against Vegas Degenerates with a 5-3 win. Don't Touch My Kodjia beat Save Shane's Turtle in a 3-0 triumph, solidifying their place as early contenders.
Meanwhile, in Division 2, Ajang FC narrowly defeated Scratta Athletic 1-0, in a tight defense-led game. Scotts XI managed a 3-2 victory over Croft VI. The highlight of this division, however, was Euro Anchor FC's 8-1 rout of Pedro-Philes, which left spectators in awe.
We wish all teams good luck going into game week 2 of the campaign with Walsall's premier providers of small sided football!
