Weekly News from Monday 8th May

A great night of football on Monday saw all teams in attendance as expected, with the only exception being Pique Blinders. Unfortunately the team will now be leaving the league, meaning we have one vacancy available.

Meanwhile we were extremely disappointed to hear of an incident in the match involving Pum Pum Gnash. Joshua Kelley was shown a red card after continuous verbal abuse towards the referee, and so as a result will also receive a £15 fine and two week ban.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate. Any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.
