Fantastic start to brand new Thursday league in Walsall!

The brand new Thursday league got off to a tremendous start at Oak Park in Walsall, as our new 6 a side league got off to a flyer. We saw some thrilling games played, and all of the teams were in attendance as expected and played their games in a fantastic spirit.

The night got off to a great start with a very close game that Welch Wanderers finally came out on top of winning 3-1. The second game of the night was the highest scoring game with AFC Bagheads putting 9 past Xavi Dodgers. Donna Meat No Salah couldn't out score the early pace setters but they did net 6 without reply in their match against Clayhanger United.

Last up was last seasons title winning team as they took on Blackcountry Lads and showed why once again they will be the team to beat with a 4-0 win.
