Thursday 22nd April - Walsall Round-Up

It was an excellent start to the new season in the Walsall Thursday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches across both divisions.

In the Premier Division last season's champions met on the first week of the season, as newly promoted Hardly Athletic came up against Premier Division Champs Leavemywartsalona.  It was an entertaining game which the Premier Division winners ran out 6-3 winners.  

There were some closely contested matches in Division One with three of the four games being decided by a single goal.  Pick of the bunch was the 4-3 victory for Puyol Pants Down over recently relegated The Porkey Blinders.
