Thursday 4th May - Walsall Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Walsall Thursday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some cracking matches played.  The only exception being Taccy Rumpas who will be spoken to and confirmed to return on 11th May.

The first match of the night saw Cripples Athletic take on Fatzio FC. It was a closely fought battle, but Fatzio FC emerged victorious with a 3-1 win. Despite a valiant effort from Cripples Athletic, they were unable to keep up with the pace of their opponents, who put in an impressive performance to take all three points.

Next up was Ball of Duty against Dude Wheres My Ladders. In what turned out to be a nail-biting encounter, both teams fought hard to secure the win. However, it was Ball of Duty who eventually emerged victorious, winning 3-2 in a closely contested match. The game was full of drama, with both sides putting in a great effort to entertain the crowd.

The third match of the night was a one-sided affair, as Bryan Munich dominated the game against Schmeichel Jackson. Bryan Munich were in fine form and played with great composure throughout, scoring an impressive 6 goals and keeping a clean sheet. Schmeichel Jackson, on the other hand, struggled to get into the game and were unable to find the back of the net.

Overall, it was a thrilling night of football at Oak Park, with some great performances from all teams involved. The league is shaping up to be a closely fought competition, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store!

We thank all of our teams for their continued commitment and reliability towards the league, which ensures the league runs on time and smoothly each week.
