Play in the Telford Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In an electrifying second week of the Telford Sunday 6-a-side Football league, teams battled it out in what proved to be a night of high intensity and stellar performances. The games showcased some incredible performances, with The Colonels and Albrighton CC coming out on top.

In the opening fixture, Albrighton CC dominated Brexit Beautys, with a crushing victory of 8-0, proving themselves a force to be reckoned with this season. The match was a tale of 2 Ben's as Ben N and Ben W both notched impressive hatricks to guide their side to victory.  

Yet it wasn't just Albrighton CC basking in glory; The Colonels delivered an astounding performance against Tea And Busquets, winning the match 8-1.The victory saw Samuel Darko, of The Colonels, being named the Most Valued Player of the week. Darko put in a stellar performance as he smashed in 4 goals in a display of pure skill and poise.

In the evening's final match, Hardly Learning FC succumbed to newcomers AUFC with a scoreline of 1-6. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to match the intensity and skill of AUFC, leaving plenty for the team to reflect upon as they look towards the next game.  Top performances from Toby and Rhys saw AUFC dominate proceedings.

As we enter into our third week of the season, The Telford Sunday 6-a-side Football league continues to captivate us all. It is set to be another thrilling round of games as teams vie for the top spot.
