Play in the Telford Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the electrifying 8th week of Telford Sunday's 6-a-side football league, the Premier League division witnessed some truly memorable matches.

In the first match, Albrighton Cc faced a tough competition from second p;aced Colonels, who kept themselves within touching distance of top spot with a comfortable victory. Goals from Sam, Matt and a brace from leading scorer Harvey gave their side a well-earned win. Albrighton Cc showed remarkable team spirit and kept fighting to the end but couldn't quite match Colonels om the night.

In another thrilling match, Tea And Busquets outshone Inter The Pub with a decisive 6-2 victory, their very first in the competition. It was a fantastic performance from "The Busquet Men" with Ben Keates particularly impressive in the engine room. His exemplary skills and unwavering determination contributed immensely to the team's triumph. A brace from Ben and Lewis along with goals from Adam and Tom secured the victory. Inter The Pub showed flashes of great play but struggled to cope on the transition with big gaps between defence and attack. Excellent goals from Andy and Brad kept them in the game but ultimately it was not enough.

The evening's third match saw champions Rowdy FC take on Hardly Athletic in a close encounter. Hardly set up well structured with striker Andy playing a "Cannavroesque" role in defence. Rowdy took the lead through a great long range effort from Jacko but Hardly responded well, grabbing an equaliser through Connor. The game looked to be heading for a draw with Hardly spurning a huge chance to secure victory late on. They were made to pay in the final minutes as Aaron grabbed a well taken goal from a corner to give his side a narrow victory.

The most striking match of the division came late on between Brexit Beautys and AUFC, with AUFC defeating their opponents with a stunning 9-2 score. Kieran Marks from AUFC emerged as the top scorer of the Premier League division this week, netting an impressive hatrick. Brexit were good value coming forward with goals from Jack and Jayden but could not match free-scoring AUFC who ran out comfortable winners with goals from Toby and Reece and braces from Taylor and Rhys to accompany Kieran's 3 goal haul. AUFC remain in third whilst Brexit sit in midtable.

These results have effectively reshaped the league standings and the further competition promises to be more intense in the weeks to come. All eyes are now set on the next round of matches, where teams will look to capitalize on their victories or seek redemption from their defeats. The fever of the Telford Sunday's football league is certainly at its peak, and we can't wait to see what the upcoming matches have in store for us.
