In the world of local football, the Telford Sunday 6 a side league came alive yesterday with a thrilling set of fixtures as teh league returned after the Bank Holiday break.

In the Premier League division, FC Gazzinhios clinched a decisive 3-0 victory over Resin Ultras, thanks to their top scorer, JR, who netted all three goals for his team. Meanwhile, Murder On Zidanes Floor outplayed The Jockeys with a 6-2 victory, and Inter The Pub ended in a deadlock with Puyol Pants Down after a 2-2 draw. Unleashed FC return to competitive action as normal next week.

Moving onto Division 1, TF Reds emerged victorious against Tea And Busquets with a clean sheet of 3-0. The Ballbaggies, led by top scorer Jack, who netted four goals, overpowered Wonky Walkers with a 4-1 win. BBFC also notched a win against Scrambled Legs by 3-1, intensifying the competition in the division.

Down in Division 2, Bates Boys triumphed over Los Pollos Fc in a 4-2 victory. Athletic Dildao earned a narrow 1-0 win against Egg Poachers, while REAL SOSOBAD barely edged out FAKE MADRID in a seven-goal thriller, finishing 4-3. REAL SOSOBAD was lead by top scorer Jack, who contributed two vital goals for the win.
