Play in the Telford Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the first week of the newly launched Telford Sunday 6-a-side Football League, the teams in the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2 divisions took to the pitch in what promised to be an exciting start to the season.

The Premier League saw some competitive matches with The Jockeys edging out Banterlona 4-3 in a tightly contested encounter. SD Strikers narrowly lost to BBFC 1-0, while Murder On Zidanes Floor started their campaign on a high note, cruising past FC Gazzinhios 6-2. The star of the night in this division was undoubtedly Hendo, who displayed an excellent performance, scoring 3 goals for Murder on Zidanes Floor.

In Division 1, TF Reds lost to All 4's FC in a 5-2 thriller, Bates Boys bagged a 2-1 win against Tea And Busquets and Nigel FC succumbed to a 5-0 defeat against FAKE MADRID. The standout player in this division was All 4's FC's Robbie, who netted twice in his team's victory.

The action in Division 2 saw REAL SOSOBAD losing heavily 6-1 against ARJEN Robben Me, Wireless Rutter were defeated 6-1 by Athletic Dildao, Real Dreadful demolished Only Fools And Oldies 7-0, whilst Lads On Toure saw off Muffield United 3-0. Josh was the standout performer in Division 2, scoring an impressive 3 goals for ARJEN Robben Me.

It's clear that this season of the Telford Sunday 6-a-side Football League has kicked off with a bang. The teams are set, the rivalries have begun, and we can't wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds. With top scorers such as Hendo, Robbie and Josh setting the bar high in the opening week, the challenge is on for the other players to step up their game in the coming weeks.
