Play in the Telford Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The first week of the Telford Sunday football league has come to a resounding close, with several teams making a strong start to the season. We were delighted to welcome so many new teams to the league to mark the season opener.

In the Premier League division, Nulty FC set a blistering pace with an 8-2 routing of The Jockeys. The man of the moment for Nulty FC was undoubtedly, Lebrown, who netted an impressive 3 goals, marking him as the top scorer in the Premier League division this week. Other notable matches in the division saw SD Strikers and BBFC ending in a 2-2 stalemate, just as TF Reds and Bat Fastards did. FC Fried also managed to secure an edge over Donnington Dons with a 2-1 win, with a notable performance from this week’s most valued player, Jayden Davies.

Moving to Division 1, Bates Boys sneaked a 3-2 victory over Tea And Busquets. The star of the match was Henry Winfield who bagged all three goals for his team, making him the top scorer in the division. Elsewhere, Real Dreadful managed a 2-0 victory over Merchant FC.

In Division 2, there were goal fests aplenty. Crouch Potatoes emerged victorious with an 8-4 win over Universal Credit FC. Jack, from Crouch Potatoes, was the standout player, bagging an incredible 5 goals and securing his spot as the top scorer in the division.
