Play in the Telford Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In a thrilling conclusion to the Telford Sunday 6-a-side Football league, the Premier League division witnessed some truly breathtaking football last night. It was the final week of the season, and the teams were ready to give it their all.

Albrighton Cc clinched a hard-fought 1-0 victory over AUFC, with the team's star performer, Adam Shimmons, being named man of the match. His well taken goal was the difference in an end to end affair where both teams spurned numerous chances. The result means Albrighton leave the league on a high.

In an exciting match up, champions Rowdy FC edged out Brexit Beautys with a 4-2 victory. The win is a fitting end to their superb season, which saw them topping the Premier League with a total of 28 points and 14 wins. Brexit put in an excellent performance in this one, making their opponents work hard for the victory with 2 goals from the impressive Tayos. However, the Rowdy boys were ultimately too strong, netting 4 goals through Aaron, Mal and a double from the dangerous Matteo.

Hardly Learning FC,  continued their excellent run with a 5-1 rout of Tea and Busquets. Their top scorer, Connor, stood tall among his peers by netting a terrific treble with additional goals from Andy and Tom. Busquets replied through Adam but fell short on the night. They will be delighted however with their end to the season as they steered themselves away from the relegation places. Hardly Learning will now gear up for a title challenge next season after finishing the campaign in second place following an impressive run of wins.

Meanwhile, The Colonels' dished up a convincing 4-1 victory over Inter The Pub to mark a positive end to their campaign . Their pace and trickery was too much for their opponents on the night with goals from Harry, Denzel and leading scorer Harvey enough to secure a handsome win. Andy grabbed a goal back for Inter who will be looking to add some consistency to their performances in the new season. Colonels meanwhile finish their campaign in 3rd place and will be looking to kick on next time around.

As we wrap up this exhilarating season, we congratulate the winners Rowdy FC, applaud the tenacity of all the participants, and look forward to the next season of the ever-exciting Telford Sunday 6-a-side Football league. The battle on the pitch may be over, but the memories of this fantastic season will linger on.
