In the world of local football, the first week of the Telford Thursday 6-a-side league kicked off with an exciting start. We were delighted to welcome so many new teams to the league.

Straw Hats emerged victorious in a nail-biting match against Acquedotto with a final score of 3-2. The fans were on the edge of their seats throughout the match as both teams showcased their grit and determination. In another intense fixture of the day, Skelly Ams and FC Fuchs Sake locked horns and settled for a 1-1 draw,.

However, the highlight of the night was undoubtedly FC Gazzinhios’s  performance against Inter The Van securing an 8-0 victory. A large part of FC Gazzinhios's striking victory can be credited to the brilliant performance of the team's forward, Brad Bailey. Bailey managed to net a hat trick, making him the top scorer in the Premier League division for the week.

Expected Toulouse also started their season on a bright note by defeating Bates Boys 3-1. With these matches, the teams have set the tone for the rest of the season, promising an enthralling contest in the coming weeks.
