Play in the Telford Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

It was a fantastic week of action in our Telford Thursday league as we welcomed 6 new teams for the kick of our brand new second division!

In the Premier League, FC Gazzinhios clinched a significant victory against Acquedotto with a 3-0 win, while Bates Boys mirrored that scoreline against Straw Hats in a formidable display. However, the spotlight of the week undoubtedly belongs to Fc Fuchs Sake, who triumphed over Inter The Van with a 7-1 victory. This match saw the emergence of a new top scorer, Elliot, who netted an impressive 3 goals for Fc Fuchs Sake, proving to be a decisive player in the Premier League this week.

In Division 1, the competition was just as fierce. Old Hungarian Hornies set the tone with a solid 3-0 triumph over Egg Fried Reus, thanks to the commendable performance from Zoltan Kanizsai-Nagy. Kanizsai-Nagy netted 3 goals to place himself at the top of the Division 1 scoring chart, demonstrating his value to the team.

However, the standout result in Division 1 this week was undoubtedly the 7-0 victory delivered by Fraudulent FC against Lick My Pass, sending a clear message to the rest of the division about their title ambitions.

As we move into week 6, the tension is building, and the competition is becoming fiercer. The teams are gearing up for another intense round of matches, and all eyes will be on the top scorers, Elliot and Zoltan Kanizsai-Nagy, to see if they can maintain their exceptional form and lead their respective teams to victory.
