In an electrifying week of the Telford Thursday, the 6-a-side football league, under the floodlights, teams from the Premier League and Division 1 locked horns.

Starting off with the Premier League, FC Fuchs Sake fell short against the Beans FC with a score of 3-5 in a high-scoring match, while Inter The Van secured a solid 3-1 victory over Straw Hats, with Inter's Deni standing out, scoring a hat trick. This stellar performance propelled him to the top of this week's scoring chart in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Bates Boys experienced a tough outing against Skelly Ams, being on the wrong end of a 4-0 defeat. The evening concluded with the high-octane duel between Pro Mincers and FC Gazzinhios, which, despite the relentless efforts from both sides, ended in a goal-less draw.

Switching gears to Division 1, Egg Fried Reus lost a closely fought match 1-2 to Arjen Robben Me, and it was the same scoreline when Lick My Pass bowed to Old Hungarian Hornies. Division 1’s top scorer of the week was Zoltan Kanizsai-Nagy, who found the net twice for Old Hungarian Hornies.

However, the highlight of the week was the exceptional performance of Jayden Windsor from FC Gazzinhios, who was named the most valuable player of the week. His tenacity, creativity, and tireless work ethic shone brightly, earning him this well-deserved accolade.

We wish all teams the very best of luck for next week!
