It was a great evening of action at Telford Leisure League on Thursday which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled.
In the Premier League, the night was marked by impressive scorelines and standout performances. The matchup between Banterlona and Jockey Blade FC was a one-sided affair, with Jockey Blade FC dominating the match and handing Banterlona a harsh 5-0 defeat.
Meanwhile, FC Gazzinhios and Net Six And Chill clashed in a riveting match that saw FC Gazzinhios emerge victorious with a 4-2 win. Steeleys Girls also made an emphatic statement by defeating Skelly Ams with a strong 5-0 performance.
The Premier League's top scorer of the week was none other than Steven Tranter who found the back of the net three times for Goodlyf FC, showcasing his goal-scoring prowess.
Over in Division 1, the games were equally thrilling. Arleston Villa and Leave My Arcelona battled it out to a 3-3 draw. Dashing hopes of an early win, Nova lost out to Inter The Van in a closely contested 2-1 game. A stunning performance from Bates Boys saw them take a 6-0 victory over Cropper Shopping Bag Soccer, while The Real Lads narrowly lost 2-1 to Real Sosobad.
Shutty, of Arleston Villa, claimed the top scorer title for Division 1, also netting three goals in his side's draw.
Nevertheless, the standout player of the week was the prolific Ben Evans from Nova. Despite his team's defeat, Evans put in a commendable performance, earning him the title of Most Valued Player.
