It was great evening of action at Telford Leisure Leagues on Thursday which saw all teams in attendance with the exception of Net Six and Chill who return to competitive action next week.
In the Premier League division, the fifth week was marked by some shocking victories and stunning performances. Banterlona dominated the field with a resounding 4-1 victory over MSM FC, putting on full display their strategic prowess and astounding team dynamics. Not far behind, Steeleys Girls secured an impressive 5-2 win against FC Gazzinhios. Ryan Murphy from Steeleys Girls garnered praise for his impeccable performance as the top scorer of the division, netting an impressive total of three goals that greatly contributed to the team's triumph. Other matches saw Jockey Blade FC overcome Skelly Ams 5-2, while Goodlyf FC crushed Net Six And Chill with a flawless 5-0 score.
In the Division 1, Arleston Villa emerged as the stars of the week. The team showcased a spectacular performance, defeating Bates Boys 5-0. The star of the match was undoubtedly Lev, who single-handedly scored all five goals, becoming the top scorer in Division 1 this week. The Real Lads clinched a 5-2 victory against Inter The Van, while Real Sosobad and Leave My Arcelona gave a nail-biting performance that ended in a 1-1 draw. Cropper Shopping Bag Soccer was subdued by Nova with a 0-3 score.
