Play in the Telford Sunday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In a thrilling kickoff to Telford Thursday's 6-a-side Football League, teams across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 divisions put up fierce competition to set the pace for the season.

The Premier League saw remarkable performances from teams SWC FC, Steeleys Girls, FC Gazzinhios, and Interlager, with SWC FC taking a strong, early lead with a 3-0 victory over Bodo Gimps. Steeleys Girls set the bar high with a 5-2 triumph over Cropper Shopping Bag Soccer, while FC Gazzinhios resulted in a 6-0 clean sweep against Power Of White. The night ended with MSM FC falling to Interlager 1 to 3. Lewis from Steeleys Girls emerged as the top scorer in the Premier League division, having netted an impressive four goals.

Over in Division 1, The Real Lads, Skelly Ams, Six Appeal FC, and Nova celebrated victories. The Real Lads showed their mettle in a convincing 3-1 win over Inter The Van, while Leave My Arcelona fell 2-4 to Skelly Ams. This division's star player was Bryan from Leave My Arcelona, who notched up two goals despite his team's defeat.

Division 2 saw Bates Boys, Hog Riders, and Joga Bonita CDF rise as the week's victors. The most overwhelming victory, however, was seen in Bates Boys’ astonishing 13-1 win over Trojans Barmy Army. Soaring above the rest, Lewis from Bates Boys scored a total of seven goals for his team, making him Division 2's top scorer.

This first week has set an exhilarating tone for the remainder of the season. With such an impressive display of talent, football fans are eagerly anticipating the next round of matches.
