Telford Thursday football league kicked off its new season last night with electrifying matches in the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2.

In the Premier League, Swan Thursday 6s made a thrilling start, defeating Inter The Van 5 - 1. A major highlight of the match was the remarkable performance of Cooksey, who scored a whopping 5 goals for Swan Thursday 6s, making him the top scorer in this division in the first week of the league.

Other matches in the Premier league saw Six Appeal FC beat FC Gazzinhios 4 - 2, and Joga Bonita CDF edge out Naughty 40 in a closely fought match, ending 5 - 3. Interlager started their season with a bang, demolishing Only Put Matip In with a 7 - 0 victory.

In Division 1, Multiple Scoregasms showed their dominance over Power Of White with a 7 - 2 victory. A standout performance was given by Lay lay, who netted 3 goals, making him the top scorer in the Division 1. The other matches saw Cropper Shopping Bag Soccer put 4 past Skelly Ams and Leave My Arcelona win 3 - 0 against Nova.

Division 2 also experienced its share of footballing excitement. Joshua Baker of Jurgen Flops led the division's scoring charts, netting two goals. The matches saw Chubby Chasers beat The Six Offenders 4 - 1, Hog Riders secure a 4 - 2 victory over Red Djed Redemption, while Unais Carni Army and John Smiths Old Boys ended in a goalless draw.
