Football excitement reached fever pitch last night as week 2 of the St Albans Wednesday 6-a-side Football league took place. Teams from three divisions clashed in nail-biting encounters that saw spectators on the edge of their seats.

In Division 1, RFD United continued their impressive form with a 3-0 victory over CROWN FC, marking their formidable presence in the league. Another notable showdown was between Mandembele and STAllions, where STAllions triumphed with a 4-2 win. Two Nil To The Bane also dominated their game against Eggy Boiz FC, boasting a 3-0 win. Meanwhile, Verboten Old Boys showed their prowess by defeating Unathletico Madrid 4-1.

Over in Division 2, a thrilling match between Like A Baws FC and Speckled Men AFC saw the Speckled Men clinching the win with a 4-3 score. NCA FC stood victorious against Titus Shambles, securing a 4-2 win. TMGFC showcased their resilience with a 5-3 win over TNF, making a statement in the league.

Lastly, in Division 3, AFC Shin Splints and FC Sumo's match was a hard-fought battle that ended in a 1-1 draw. Fatzio managed to scrape a 1-0 victory over Intergenerationale, and the final match of the night saw Speckled Army defeating Snit United 5-1.
