Lots of thrilling football was played out in the third round of this new season of Grimsby's 6-a-side Sunday league. 

International kicked things off with a bang, completing a comprehensive 8-0 drubbing of Club Tropicana Drinks FC. The result saw them leapfrog FatNLazy FC and claim second on the table. FatNLazy's opponents Fill My Wycombe were unavailable, and the former's walkthrough means they are just behind second place with a goal difference of one. 

League leaders Peaky Ben Der were given a stern test by Benchwarmers FC, but they ultimately made it through with the skin of their teeth, winning 2-1. Leroys FC finally got their first win on the board, beating Tinpot United 1-0.
