The Grimsby Sunday 6-a-side returned with some more cracking football at the Oasis Academy this week as we ran through week eight of the season. 

Leroys FC kicked off with a crucial 1-0 win over GetBatteredEverywhereWeGo, as Smyths FC stayed abreast of them with a 7-1 rout of second-placed Tinpot United. 

The former edged closer to the top two as a result, and league leaders International fully capitalised on the dropped points to increase their lead atop the table to three points. They remained perfect, crushing GY Crusaders 8-0, as Team GY managed a 5-0 win over FC Sporting a Beer Gut.
