Some crazy matches played out this Sunday in the Grimsby 6-a-side league at the Oasis Academy, in round five of the season. 

Benchwarmers FC got the evening's football underway, claiming a hard-fought 2-1 win over Leroys FC. There were some major movements in the top two, with International cruising to a 5-0 over Peaky Ben Der, claiming top spot and knocking their opponents down to third in the process. 

Tinpot United moved up into fifth with a 2-1 win against Clee Bargains, and in the match of the round, FatNLazy capitalised on International's win to move up into second and they did it in style. They were rampant in a stunning 10-1 victory over Club Tropicana Drinks FC, massively improving their goal difference as well, to keep in touching distance of top spot.  

The top three look set to deliver a thrilling title race.
