A great night of football at Leisure Leagues St Neots!

It was great to see all teams in attendance this week and no discipline issues, referees only really had to blow their whistle for kick off, half time and full time which meant the games flowed well!

Premier Division

New side Emile Sniff-snow took on The Wizards of Ozil in game 1 this week, with captain Josh Frood bagging in a 1-0 win for Emile Sniff-snow keeping them top of the league.

A six goal thriller in game two of the Premier Division as The Bodge took on Tekkerslovakia. Mikey and Aiden on the scoresheet for The Bodge was not enough as Tekkerslovakia got four in reply through Oli Swinscoe, Harry Dynes and Sami Sawyer (2).

A composed performance from the champions DCDC FC saw off SMD in 4-1 win for DCDC with goals from Nathan, Matt Larkman and two for Joe. Gibbo on the scoresheet for SMD.

Our last game of the night was the two promoted teams from last season's Division One. 2 Girls 1 Schlupp took on Double Pogba and Koke and it was a cracker for the neutral. Two goals each for Don Dixon and Alix Girdlestone with one apiece for Jamie Gilbert and Alex Ware was enough to see off two goals from Pogba captain Jordon Holdaway and one from Olly Woodward in a 6-3 win for 2 Girls 1 Schlupp.

Division One

Another tough night for ATG No Idea as they faced off against Law Abiding Sigurdssons. Two goals for Tom and one each for Matty, Rocket and James Geary was enough for Sigurdssons to win 5-0.

Grop United faced off against Inter Yournan in game two of Division One, with Inter taking the win. A Josh Osbourne hattrick and two from Jack Hall saw off the Grop United challenge in a 5-0 win for Inter Yournan.

A goal for captain Lewis Griffiths was the standout performance in a difficult night for Aston Villagers as Hammertime FC ran riot. A Russell Davies hattrick with a goal each for Alex Walton and A Palmer saw Hammertime win 5-1.

Our last game of the night saw The Kiddos face off against table toppers New Boys. Goals from Charlie White and Jenson Stone for The Kiddos was outmatched by New Boys who found success through Jez Huggins, Evan Lincoln, Drew Barclay and Jay Anutika in a 4-2 win.
