Weekly update from St Neots 6 a side as new league kicks off

It was great to hear of a lot of good performances in the first game week of the season - but after their final warning, we have had to remove Dolce & Lallana from the league for consistent poor discipline and abuse towards referees. Emile Sniff-snow have quickly moved to take their place and we welcome them to the league! Can all teams be reminded that this behaviour will not be tolerated.

Premier Division

Our first game of the night was Tekkerslovakia against DCDC FC. A strong performance from DCDC saw them walk away with a clean sheet and the points in a 2-0 win with two goals coming from captain Sully.

Our second game of the night was also decided by two goals as The Wizards of Ozil took on Double Pogba and Koke. A goal for captain Jordon Holdaway and Olly Woodward saw the Pogba boys take third spot.

Game three was due to be SMD against Dolce & Lallana, but with SMD unable to field a side, Emile Sniff-snow filled in a 8-6 thriller, as they now take Dolce & Lallana's place at the top of the table.

Our last game of the night in the Premier Division was The Bodge taking on Division One winners 2 Girls 1 Schlupp. A step up to the new division saw them fall slightly short as The Bodge bagged with two from Jordon Cobb and one from Mikey. Don Dixon got one in reply for 2 Girls 1 Schlupp as it finished 3-1 to The Bodge.

Division One

It was a tough first game for ATG No Idea as they took on New Boys. A ten goal thriller saw New Boys find success through captain Tom Townsend (1), a Jez Huggins hattrick, two for Evan Lincoln and one each for Drew Barclay and Myles. Tom Hall got one in reply for ATG as it finished 8-1 to New Boys.

The Kiddos were due to take on freshly relegated Aston Villagers, but with The Kiddos unable to field a side, Salad Munchers stepped in for the fixture in a great game as Villagers took the points match win.

Relegated Law Abiding Sigurdssons faced off against Grop United and it was the only fixture to end in a draw. Two goals for Alex Button for Sigurdssons saw his efforts cancelled out by two for Ryley Pook of Grop United in a 2-2 draw.

Our last game of the night was Inter Yournan taking on Hammertime FC. A Jordon Holdaway goal for Inter wasn't enough as Hammertime bagged two to take the points.
