Play in the Oswestry Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In an exhilarating week of the Oswestry Monday 6-a-side Football league, the teams battled hard on the pitch, with each division seeing its fair share of spectacular goals. We were delighted to welcome Cooksom Travel and One Touch Wonders to the league who both made their competitive debut.

In the Premier League division, Black Bell FC emerged victorious over Balotellitubbies with a decisive 2-0 win. The game was tightly contested, but Black Bell FC displayed superior teamwork and finesse, securing themselves a the victory. 

Moving on to Division 1, The Keys United made a powerful statement with a  9-2 victory over One Touch Wonders, showcasing their offensive prowess. The same division saw a competitive match between Palace FC and MK Dongs, ending in a 6-3 victory for Palace FC. The game was filled with powerful strikes and extraordinary saves, but the superior ball handling skills of Palace FC eventually prevailed. The last game of the division saw Old Tokers Union bag a win over Monners OT with an impressive 6-3 scoreline.

In Division 2, the games were intensely fought with narrow margins defining the winners. Welshpool Wanderers squeezed a win over Champagne SuperRovers with a tight 2-1 victory, while Expected Toulouse managed to edge out Cooksom Travel with a 1-0 win in a nail-biting encounter. FC Bont return to competitive action as normal next week.
