Play in the Oswestry Wednesday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Oswestry Monday Football League kicked off its season last night with thrilling matches across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2. We were delighted to welcome both Winables FC and Oswestry Thursday to the league.

In the Premier League, Balotellitubbies made a strong start to their campaign by edging past CLUB 1509 with a 2-1 victory. Spectrum FC demonstrated their goal-scoring prowess by turning in a commanding performance against Monners OT, triumphing 7-3. Meanwhile, Jones Brothers FC ensured a clean sheet with a solid 3-0 win over Black Bell Fc, setting an early pace in the top-tier division.

Over in Division 1, MK Dongs were the standout performers, notching a comprehensive 5-0 win against Royal Kerala Fc. In a closely fought contest, Winables FC managed to squeeze past Azzy Boys 4-3, while FC Bont sealed an early victory by defeating Oswestry Thursdays 2-0.

Division 2 also saw its fair share of action. Cooksom Travel started their season with an assured 3-0 victory over Champagne SuperRovers, laying down a marker for the rest of the division. Ball of Duty return to competitive action as normal next week.
