WOLVERHAMPTON MONDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 12 JUNE 2023

All the latest news for the Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side League is direct from Our Lady & St Chad Sport's Academy.

Wolverhampton Monday's 6 a side football league just wrapped up its fourth week of the season. It was an exciting night of games, with some impressive performances from several teams.

Unfortunately we did have one non attendance on the night as 'FC Springhill' were not present for there fixture, they have confirmed there return for next week. It is paramount all teams are present for there fixture each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your Area Manager in plenty of notice.

In the Premier League division, Saka Potatoes had a solid showing, defeating 'Dangerous Darren' 3-1, while Bostin Bilston were too much for 'Sean Dyche Brexit Ball FC', emerging victorious with a final score of 4-0.

The Division 1 games were just as thrilling. 'Boca Seniors FC 'managed to secure a 3-2 win against 'Wolves Nations FC', while 'TT Elite' had a strong showing against 'ECC United', winning 4-0. 'Pendeford Unathletic FC' also had an impressive 3-0 victory over 'Straight Outta Compton'.

In Division 2, there were some tough matches, with 'The Way' getting the win against 'FC Springhill'. 'Murder On Zidanes Floor' had a hard-fought draw against 'Oldman Asthmatic', finishing with a score of 1-1, while 'Bushbury Hill FC' were victorious over 'KFC W1mbledon' with a good win.

The team of the week were 'Bushbury Hill FC' with there performance against 'KFC W1mbledon'. They sit top and unbeaten so far this season and will be looking to keep that run going when they play the newly named 'Inter Row Z' next week, good luck in the name change from 'Oldman Asthmatic'.

Overall, it was an exciting night of football, with some standout performances from several teams and players. We can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for us.
