WOLVERHAMPTON MONDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 13TH FEBRUARY

A brilliant night of 6-a-side football in the Wolverhampton Monday League with all teams in attendance and some fantastic games throughout as the NEW DIVISION TWO got underway. We also welcome new teams 'TT Elite', 'Pendeford Unathletic FC' and 'Paralytic Athletic' to the league and it was great to see them all very competitive on the night. We wish all these teams the best of luck moving forward!
The game of the evening this week in the Premier League was an epic 4-3 win for 'Striker FC' over 'Sean Dyche Brexit Ball FC' as the two teams fought it out right until the final whistle. Despite both teams performing exceptionally well it was 'Striker FC' who were able to come out on top on this occasion. With there first win under their belt they will now be looking to build on this in the weeks to come, next up 'Bigos Amigos'.
Division One game of the night was the game between 'FC Springhill' and 'Wolves Nations FC'. Nothing could seperate the two teams and they both tried there hardest to outdo their opponents however in the end the points were shared. It will be interesting to see if we have the same result when the two teams meet again later in the season.
Our brand new Division Two gave us some exhilarating games and the last game of the night was the game of the week as 'Pendeford Unathletic FC' came away with a 2-1 victory over 'Paralytic Athletic'. It was a fantastic end to end game that could have saw more goals with some more clinical finishing but 'Penderford Unathletic FC' were able to pip it in the end. It will be great to see these two teams face each other again at a later date and ultimately see who would come out on top in that game.
The team of the week this week is given 'TT Elite' as they provided an incredible debut game in the league where they beat their opponents 5-1! Is this a sign of what's to come as the weeks go on in the NEW DIVSION only time will tell but top of the division after week one is always a good place to be.
